Too Long; Didn't Read

I will not try to convince you to use a VPN. I'll tell you the reasons why I use it and you can take your call. VPNs started trending in this new wave of security breaches and fear for privacy. 10 years ago, everyone was scared of viruses. People responded to viruses with software such as ESET Nod, Avast Antivirus, or Kaspersky.Today, my granny uses Skype and googles celebrity gossip, fearlessly, unlike in the old days when even the basic viruses were consideredvirile.

Coming to VPNs VPNs. By using it, you put in place a mediator between your computer and your internet service provider - encrypting who you are, encrypting what you searched for, and encrypting where you live.

Among other things, these VPNs help you stream your Netflix unencumbered while you travel overseas.

You see, due to US copyright laws - several Netflix titles cannot be streamed in the EU region. Your VPN will make your ISP believe that you're in the US and let you watch your titles, what's the word - unencumbered

                                                                        **Open Wifi spots**

Today, you go out to drink coffee and scroll through your social media via their FREE Wi-Fi.

That open WiFi puts your credentials at risk. With minimal skills, even script kiddies have been known to snoop around open networks and sniff out your Facebook, GMails, and even your banking credentials. That's not nice. Right?

But it is *very easy.

My friend loves doing it just because he can. I don't trust him with my payment info. Would you?

By using a VPN, you'll cut people like my friend from your device.

It will keep your **credit card data**encrypted.

The fastest way to convince people to use a VPN is to **steal some of their money **from online accounts.

Call it real-world training.

Still don't agree?

Fine. Let’s talk **about passwords **then.

About having cross-accounts for work and personal usage. About being expected to remember "F%j74@kl0'8" and its ilk like its nothing. You're advised to keep it random.Give it a pattern and someone will crack it - sooner or later.

They cracked the Enigma code with a fraction of the computing power at the disposal of a hacker today.
Imagine the horror.
AWS (Amazon) and Microsoft will even give you loads of it for FREE to entice you to choose them over the other.

Think about it.

Actually, DON'T.

Get a VPN today.
