Putting it out there: CVs and promo packets

Self-promotion comes easier to some folks than to others. If you lean toward modesty, laying out your accomplishments in your CV or promo package might be downright difficult. That was always the case for me. I’d spend hour after hour writing, rewriting, organizing, re-organizing, putting in and taking out information before arriving at a CV or promo packet that showcased what I’d done. Going through three successful promotions in four years taught me a few things I’d like to share here.

Warning: There is no recipe for a winning CV or promo package, so take these “tips” with a grain of salt.
