Open Data Hack Powered by Filecoin, Kicking Off on August 30th

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Open Data Hack powered by Filecoin, a three-week online hackathon starting on August 30th.

Join us for an online event chock-full of hacking and learning, featuring mentorship and support from Encode, the Filecoin ecosystem, and friends throughout the program.

Learn with us and develop inspiring new use cases to build the open data economy!

How does it work?

🚀 The hackathon starts on August 30th with an online launch event. You’ll meet the Filecoin and Encode teams, as well as our hackathon partners, who will tell you all about the bounties you can tackle.

🎥 The launch event will be followed by a series of workshops hosted by hackathon partners, aiming to help you build and ship a hackathon project.

🛠 You’ll have three weeks to build and submit a project. We’ll be there to help you every step of the way. Our PM will be in touch regularly to check on your progress, and you’ll be able to book check-in calls to get direct support. Our hackathon partners will be active in our dedicated Discord channels and available to answer your technical questions.

🏆 The best submissions will be invited to pitch live in our hackathon finale event and compete for the top prizes. Not invited to the finale? You may still be one of our prizewinners, so make sure to attend the finale event to find out!
