Apple launched the Macintosh Computer

President Nixon Announced End to the grueling Vietnam War

On January 23, 1973, U.S. President Richard Nixon announced that the United States had reached an agreement to end the Vietnam War. Known as the Paris Peace Accords, the agreement led to a ceasefire, the withdrawal of U.S. forces, and the release of American prisoners of war. While the ceasefire was not long-lasting, the announcement marked the beginning of the end of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War.
