First Satellite Communication System Launched

United States launched the world's first successful weather satellite, TIROS-1 (Television Infrared Observation Satellite). The satellite was designed to determine whether satellites could be useful in the study of Earth's weather patterns, and it was successful in transmitting the first images of Earth's weather patterns from space. TIROS-1 provided valuable data on cloud cover, temperature, and other weather-related phenomena and paved the way for a new era of satellite-based weather monitoring.
Apple Inc. Is Founded

Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne formally established Apple Inc. to create and market personal computers. Jobs and Wozniak recognized an opportunity to build computers that were more user-friendly, cheaper, and smaller than those available at the time. With a market valuation of over $2 trillion, Apple is one of the most valuable corporations in the world because of its cutting-edge goods.
Gmail is launched

Google launched Gmail, a free, web-based email service with innovative features and a great UI with a vast range of features that were not available in other email services at the time. Today, it is one of the most widely used email services in the world, with more than 1.8 billion active users.
