If you’re seeing this interview draft, it means you’ve recently published on HackerNoon a story that the community found interesting and/or valuable. For this reason, we would like to help the community get to know you better as well as find out some writing tips from you.

While this template is automatic, our interest in the answers below is genuine and our human editors (and some cyborg wannabes) will review it before publishing.

So let’s start! Tell us a bit about yourself. For example, name, profession, and personal interests.

Hello humans and cyborgs, my name is Zaheer Dodhia. I am a serial entrepreneur, father, and branding guru. Currently, I am heading Logo Design as CEO and Founder--it’s a SaaS company that makes brand designs affordable and accessible for small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs.

Interesting! What was your latest Hackernoon Top story about?

My latest post which trended was about, The Most Important Stages of SaaS Application Design which trended for a while.

Do you usually write on similar topics? If not, what do you usually write about?

Tech is my passion, so I’m keen on writing about it, but my expertise is really in branding and graphic design, in particular, logo designs. You’ll find that I mostly write about this as well as business strategies, growth hacking, and marketing.

I’ve written numerous articles on Forbes, Entrepreneur, Business Insider, Business2Community as well as HackerNoon, of course.

Great! What is your usual writing routine like (if you have one?)

Actually, I don’t have a routine as such, but I get inspired by trending topics in the tech industry and SaaS sphere.

Being a writer in tech can be a challenge. It’s not often our main role, but an addition to another one. What is the biggest challenge you have when it comes to writing?

So, my challenge is finding the tech niche that will complement my expertise and business. Most technology topics nowadays revolve around blockchain, metaverse, or products.

OK, maybe software development and web development are somewhat related, but not exactly my cuppa.

What I look for is how to use my branding experience and expertise to help those in the tech or small business sphere.

What is the next thing you hope to achieve in your career?

I’m a serial entrepreneur, so I’m always looking forward to the next big thing to spearhead a project. As an entrepreneur myself, I feel the pain and struggle that fellow-business owners go through which is why my aim is to help them by making life easier--one tool at a time.

Currently, I’m in the process of developing a SaaS tool that will hopefully help solve startup and small enterprise problems related to customer dealing.

Wow, that’s admirable. Now, something more casual: What is your guilty pleasure of choice?

Cricket, cricket, and more cricket. Yes, I’m crazy about it!

Do you have a non-tech-related hobby? If yes, what is it?

Apart from cricket? Not really.

What can the Hacker Noon community expect to read from you next?

Like the world, I’m super excited about ChatGPT and AI, so the next pieces might come from these topics.

What’s your opinion on HackerNoon as a platform for writers?

It’s a brilliant idea and super easy-to-use platform. Not only as a writer but I find all the tech topics that I want to read right here on HackerNoon by very savvy Nooners.

Thanks for taking time to join our “Meet the writer” series. It was a pleasure. Do you have any closing words?

I may not be a painter, but I hope to make businesses look more beautiful and visually appealing to their audience with graphic designs, starting with a logo.

Thank you for having me!
