It’s interesting because there is no mention of how hardware has changed to bring about the ability of use change. The globalization of the web with satellite comms allows indigenous Amazon forest dwellers to make money from their videos. The equipment they use was touched by people on almost every continent. I didn’t feel the impact of this interconnectedness from the documentary. Your hope that distributed users can overcome the monopolies that control the network does not account for who owns the network. Real hardware worth billions of dollars runs the internet. A handful of people control that hardware. That’s not going to change no matter what you call it.  I very much enjoyed watching, and I think you made some really good points. I’m looking forward to your next one!
