This was another eventful week! We want to apologize for having pulled down the administrative servers around our public alpha product. We are currently modifying large portions of our transport layer protocol to increase throughput and provide higher availability. We will keep everyone updated on our progress on spinning it back up.
Fret not, we still have something fun for you to play with! While we do this migration, we are proud to announce our Proof-of-Concept service offering called Eth-Watch. Eth-Watch is a service pointed at the public Ethereum main net, will allow consumers the ability to instantly receive mobile and/or desktop push notifications any time a transaction they have interest in is written into the blockchain or mined to or from their accounts.
These push notifications will be compatible with most browsers andmobile devices. Unfortunately, the current version of Eth-Watch is notcompatible with iOS. However, future iterations of the Eth-Watchoffering will be iOS ready.
MIMIR Blockchain Solutions is offering Eth-Watch as a free proof ofconcept service to consumers. Our CEO, Nicolas Fierro, said, “We plan toprovide programmatic API’s that will allow other DecentralizedApplications (Dapps) and their developers to seamlessly integrate thisnew push notification functionality within their own products andservices. This product is still in its early days but it’s our hopethis service will add more convenience and accessibility to existingblockchain services, as well as ones we have yet to envision. Becausethis product is under continuous development and testing, we arerecommending not to use Eth-Watch for any mission criticalapplications at this time.”
Below is a demo we have made to assist you in using Eth-Watch.
If you are already a part of our community or would like to join in on the conversation, we have pivoted from Rocket.chat to Telegram. There you can speak with other developers and members of the MIMIR team. You can ask questions and report errors as well. Take some time to explore our new product, Eth-Watch, and stay tuned for continued iterations.
All the best,
Team MIMIR
