We raised almost $3M for HackerNoon so far, valuing the company at $50M. My husband and I proudly remain the majority shareholders of HackerNoon, under all common stock, as we do not believe in diluting our values to the VCs 😉 On the other hand, we do have almost 1,300 total shareholders ☺️ My advice for all entrepreneurs: don't cheap out on lawyers, accountants, and paperwork.
