In 2014, I got fed up with the hassles, high fees and low guarantees that came with sending money to my NGO in Tanzania. So I and my friend Lincoln created Sendwave, an app that safely and quickly sends money from North America and Europe to numerous countries across Africa and Asia, for anything from family emergencies to buying a friend a beer. We now have our 600k people using Sendwave and we're making Africa a cashless continent. We're backed by some of the biggest names including Sequioa, the co-founders of Paypal, yCombinator, Stripe and more.
